JLL, a leading real estate consulting firm, has announced the appointment of James Cameron as the head of energy and infrastructure for Asia Pacific in its capital markets business line. This newly created role will be based in Singapore, and according to a press release issued on Jan 14, Cameron will be responsible for building a team in the region. This appointment is in line with JLL’s long-term capital requirements and will enable them to better serve both local and international developers and investors.
Cameron’s role will complement JLL’s existing EMEA Energy & Infrastructure business and together they will create a global capital advisory capability. This will better position the firm to address the challenges of decarbonisation, digitalisation, economic growth, and rapid urbanisation.
Stuart Crow, JLL Asia Pacific’s CEO of capital markets, believes that this is a significant opportunity for the firm. He notes that JLL has a unique expertise in mobilising multiple sources of capital and a strong track record in advising renewable transactions globally. With Cameron’s appointment, JLL is confident in its ability to serve the energy and infrastructure sector in Asia Pacific.
If you’re thinking about investing in a condo, you’ll be pleased to know that there are many benefits to be gained. One advantage is the potential to leverage its value for future investments. In fact, it’s common for investors to use their condos as collateral to secure additional financing for new ventures, ultimately expanding their real estate portfolio. However, it is crucial to have a strong financial plan in place and carefully consider potential risks, such as fluctuations in the market. With strategic planning and the intelligent use of a Singapore Condo, investors can effectively grow their real estate holdings and achieve their financial goals. He previously served as the global head of commercial real estate at Standard Chartered Bank and has experience in mobilising various forms of private and public equity and financing across the global and regional infrastructure.
