Happy New Year everyone,
To say that 2013 has been an incredible year would be a severe understatement. This year held many great surprises and unexpected adventures for us. We want to thank all of you for supporting us on this mad journey, it is the greatest gift we could ever ask to receive. Our success is a directly linked to you, we could not feel more grateful for your presence, you motivate us and inspire us.
We hope that 2014 is fruitful and joyful for you and that you achieve beyond what you think is your own personal potential, because life is always about surprising yourself with what you truly are capable of.

“Vancouver, B.C.’s The Belle Game have had a meteoric year: they began 2013 with opening spot for Hannah Georgas on a West Coast tour, followed that up with a buzzed about set at SXSW which led up the release of their debut full length Ritual Tradition Habit in April. The bold orchestral pop noir effort landed them on the all-important stamp of approval from Pitchfork, who listed the standout track “The River” as a Best New Track.
From there, they opened for the likes of Gotye, Bahamas, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, the graduated to headlining their own tour. They also garnered some coveted TV licensing deals (Greys Anatomy or Misfits anyone?), played some major festivals, a did European tour. The culmination of their notable year was selling out historic Vogue Theatre for their homecoming in Vancouver. Andrea Lo (vocals) and Rob Chursinoff (drums) took the time to answer our humble questions below while on the road in Paris. We can’t wait to see what they do in 2014″
